    Hi Rumdog,
Not impatient, just calls um as I sees um. I wished him well! Might have bought his boat, but I am just too old for these young "whippersnappers"! If that doesn't date me, nothin will............

      Ha!

Sorry for the delayed response. Been at the beach.

Guess the arrogant appearance came from writing a short note on my iPod. Hard to type there, so kept it short and to the point.

Be happy to answer any questions you have, but the KOS is pretty straight forward. I'm not much for chatting though. Especially when my other half is off work, she keeps me pretty busy here at the beach. Time is precious in our old age...

Yes, I do accept Paypal, preferably.

I was interested to know if this boat has been operated in the Ocean or in Salt water? My question comes from reading your post on the last voyage of the "Surge Crusher. Quite a loss! I am sorry.
Also, you mentioned the last run on the boat as being very fast, was it uneventful and is the boat fully operational now? Other than the damages to the exterior paint, are there any other damages or things a buyer would/might have to address?
Did you experience some or all of the problems being reported in the forums? Or did you make all the mods for your own satisfaction? or both?

Thank you for your explanation. You have a following on this forum, and a couple of fellows even spoke up for you. That speaks well of you. As I said, I respect people who are passionate about what they do. Digital communications lack tone and voice inflection which can lead to misunderstanding. Moving forward

              No worries.

Yes, it's been in the ocean quite a bit. I have a little water fountain pump I hook it up to in order to flush the system and minimize corrosion. I spray it with Boestop (corrosion inhibitor) and sometimes use a lightweight fogging oil in the cooling lines and stingers. There is some corrosion around the exhaust steel tubes as shown in the photos. It also puts some wear on the bearings, which I've replaced already and most likely will need again. I put all the maintenance parts for sale in an "EKOS outrunner kit" here in the swap shop. That was going to be my next config if I kept it.

The stock motors died, so I replaced them with the HK 2700kv 36-56 motors. The stock couplers failed as well, so installed the Octura Hex Collets.

It's actually running well now. Doesn't turn well, but probably never will with the batteries in the middle.

              my thumbs hurt.

Thank you for your response to my questions. Interesting to hear that it doesn't turn well...
I know one guy out here has his batteries stuffed in the sponsons just in front of the motors.
The videos I have seen of this boat, suggest that this move was successful. The hull layout is limited for battery location choices. The single motor cats have better choices.

Your price is fair and tempting. I have several other boats in consideration. With the upgrades you have made, your boat should sell. The economy sucks, and folks are scared, and the dolts running the county can't seem to get much right. Hang in there.
Thank you and I will let you know Weds.

I promised to let you know today about my interest in your boat. I have opted to pass on the purchase. It will be a good deal for whom ever gets it. Thank you for your time and good luck with the sale.

We ve all seen FighterCats builds and up grades. He does quality work and is very knowlagble.(Probably misspelled that). He is also very helpful. This hull is a very good buy.Id get it myself if I didnt already have an EKOS.If you consider the price of a stock EKOS then add all the upgrades he s done, you ll be well over what he is asking.

I would have jumped on it before he dropped the price if I wasn't poor now!

I'd be more interested in a big NEU motor or an HV ESC. I have a DF 40 copy waiting for a motor/ESC. I'll take a look, I take it that it's listed in the swap shop.
