I got her restored and running great, then saw a cat in the Aeromarine catalog that I just HAVE to have (which will need the motor/esc from this one).
There is one person I am waiting to hear back from (I give him until tomorrow morning then its fair game). I wanted to get pics and description up for those who might be interested.
SSSOOOLLLDDD Hull / hardware and killer servo: $275 shipped insured Cont US
(international covers additional cost)
Here is the build thread and here are vids.
I got this hull as trade and have lined her with heavy (6oz) fiberglass - one sheet for the whole thing. Filled the front completely with many layers of Great Stuff (let each dry thoroughly), then trimmed it down to the deck shape, used the spray adhesive to attach another layer of FG onto the underside of the deck, then also to the top of the foam for a SOLID bow!
I added 1/8" aircraft 5ply plywood stringers at 4" spacing. The stuffing tube is for .187" flex and is held in with a patch of CF with more West System epoxy. The hardware was purchased new from OFE store and installed by me. The transom is doubled wood and sealed with West System.
The hull is DRY! a plexiglass subhatch keeps water out and velcro keeps the hatch on.
Here are pics - feel free to ask for more angles or details.
