    FDM Nemesis 10xl

Here is a FDM Nemesis 10xl...

This motor has had about 8 total runs on it....

Originally came in my $995 RTR Mean Machine from fine design.....

I upgraded to the NEU 1515.... almost regret the upgrade as this motor seemed to push the hull better..... go figure... shouldn't have listened to mr. fine..... should have gotten the 1y and went with the 1.5y

Here is a video of this motor in my Mean Machine.....

Hull was ran 4 or 5 times in mean machine and then a few times in a sv27 which it obviously overpowered.... is in great shape and both boats were very well sealed from the element... very strong running motor..:)

$68 shipped in the Cont US 48...

Oh yeah... I am keeping the coupler:)

    Hi

Would You ship to Canada, what is the KV on that motor, what battery configuration were you running, what type of speeds were you getting in the MM?

    Thanks

      1668 kv

I will ship to canada but would like you to cover more on the shipping as it will be more $... I figured it was only going to cost me $5 to ship here in the states max.... give me your address and I will get you a price... I will cover the first $5 and you would need to cover the difference....

The motor is a 1668 KV and runs well on up to 6s

I Never had a radar or gps on this boat but would say around 50mph... this nemesis was and is a very strong motor.... If I had a boat to put it in thats where it would be...

yes I ran it on 6s but definately prop down.... it really screams on 6s:) of course you'll want to keep the bearings lubed and the heat down so you would want to check temps constantly while you are doing your prop selection..... I run Niftech Bearing Lube.... GOOD STUFF...

I am new to brushless so sorry for the ignorance. How do you lube this motor, and is there a cooling jacket available for it?

                  Nemesis temp

I like to keep em around 110 degrees or less.... no more then 130-140.... others have different opinions... usually under 80 or 90 degrees it is running hard enough:) and these motors run warmer then a NEU, etc...

Just a couple drops of oil on the bearings that are totally exposed... you can see them in the pics.... very easy.... yes you can get a cooling jacket or you can cool it using a brass cooling coil... many options.... I have a SV27 blue silicone Jacket that I will throw in for free.... doesn't give max cooling but worked ok for my needs.... probably work for yours too...

Some guys use simple Marvel Mystery oil on the bearings which does the job too..... I just use niftech in all my r/c's as it has followed me from my r/c pan car racing days..:)

                          Hull

I am putting it in a BBY Oval Master 29, hoping for low to mid 50's. I just run for fun, no competitions.

yeah thats a good deal... just remember to unhook the BEC when you run a hydra 120 over 3s.... (you will need a reciever battery to use a hydra along with 6s) If you are looking for a esc... I may be able to part with a good one.... I have a turnigy 180amp esc... like new with 3 runs on it.... this will sell in a hurry if I post it on here.... will sell to you for $85 only if you buy the motor too.... these esc's are known to be very good..... ask around.... I may post it for sale if you don't want it... it def won't last long.... nice part is they have a bec that can handle 6s and they are a VERY good durable esc and you won't have to worry about amps:) let me know asap... and do some research and you will find the 180 amp turnigy/hobbywing esc's are fantastic....
