I got into boats because I was going around new england running electric carpet pan cars... Was at a track with a hobbyshop and saw the bj26... I bought it and after the first time running it was hooked... Before I knew it I was taking my matched ib4200 nimh race batterys and turning them into boat batts!! finally after 10 yrs of being trapped inside buildings racing on carpet hung it up and decided boats were alot more fun and being outside was alot better way to spend my days out of the office... Now I run boats and medium to large 3d brushless planes:) wish I had people Around me who get into the hobby like you guys do.... I have 14 boats now, almost all brushless because up here in Vermont people Are really "green" and don't like gas or nitro noise or pollution.... I have a marina and a hanger that takes up our entire basement...lol! Thanks for your response on the Teflon liner.... I am not big into building... I have bought my boats completed and do some mods to them and upgrades but I don't like hacking into someone elses masterpiece....:)

Very nice.. I did the carpet pan myself, then got into outdoor oval, still pan, then into 4wd touring. Then got sick of racing and all the "ol timers political BS" so I got into boats more than I was. Just built my first FE from the ground up, came out nice. Im used to building gas boats that have ROOM in them. Anyway, Hope to get it wet tomorrow. Its the HOTR twin thread in the build forum.
