    wtb: a new project

    hi guys!

im looking for a new winter project and i need to get a hull. im looking for something in the 15-18 inch range to be used with a feigao 380 11s motor. it doesnt have to have hardware or elecs because ive already got some. i dont want to be too picky but i would prefer a cat or a mono. i know im not gonna get a great deal like i did on my micro scat cat, but ever since that was destroyed ( hit a dock ) ive felt the need to build something new.

    thanks guys!!!

You could always build your own out of balsa wood.

Doh, you beat me to it! Why don't you build one from balsa and ply? I have a set of plans that I could make any size you want. I built a 22" version that runs great on a 12S and 2S (like 30!!!) and super stable.

Here I just uploaded you a quick video to show you how it ROCKS!!!

keep in mind those plans are for a "micro" 14inch. If you want the 22" (much more versatile and fun) then let me know and I can send you the 22" version.

                small cat?

How about a nice sea rider cat? I think they are around 15" hull. Not sure, it is downstairs right now. I was looking at selling the hull this winter. Bare with hatch cover only.

I REALLY like the looks of the mystic, was going to build one slightly larger and put all of the items in it from my sea rider. The sea rider looks the same as the one from Mini Cat Racing (Please don't flame me Sailr). There is a thread on here about them somewhere.

Anyways, just an idea. I have about a month of running left here in Indiana, then will be starting the winter projects.

I could maybe part with my H&M Zip Eco seen here. It is a virgin hull, no holes, no damage, just as if you ordered it from H&M of Germany.

I'm not inclined to sell it necessarily, but I'd be happy to help you find a project. I could spend the money on another project. I'd also entertain trades depending on what you may have. Just let me know and I'm happy to help.
