Well you've got more kohonies than myself. My LHS just got a flight Sim and boy I SUCK.
You might be surprised at how much a flight simulator can help. My flying buddy Brian (that shot the video) logged about 60 hours on the Great Planes G4 then soloed his 1st try with a real RC plane. Great thing about the sims are the easy repairs when you crash.
I love my simulator. Made learning helis much.. MUCH cheaper.

It was really foggy in this area early this morning. Water conditions at Ackerman were in one of those "rare moment" stages though. We don't see water that flat at Ackerman very often.
1st up Ray's DF Cyber Storm 33 while it was still in foggy conditions.
Oops. This was supposed to have been ahead of the Mean Machine.
Next up some footage of Dave's little Miss Vegas hydro. Still kinda foggy but it was beginning to lift.
We had a visitor from the other side of the state (Ft Lauderdale) today. This Chris rode over to pick up my old Proboat Llumar hull and brought along his P sport Phil Thomas hydro.
Scott's Cheetah "P" twin after he reworked the rear sponsons on it. Actually taped a few very short runs of it earlier but his esc's were acting up on him at the time (so didn't process). This is the propped down run.
I've pretty much decided to pull the Swordfish out of my Miller American and put it in this boat. I'm still having issues with the Castle "cutting out" way too often. Kind of like having an engine with a miss in it.
Another run of the Phil Thomas P Sport hydro. This time it was just a touch too loose and Chris flipped it. I caught the take off on camera but missed the landing.
