Good morning Hugh. We had a decent turnout yesterday but I was slacking on the videos. Only shot one of Ray's Cheeteh and just put it in his build thread over on RCG.
The cable hasn't made it yet but will probably show up on Tuesday when mail starts moving again.

On a different note, I noticed after getting home yesterday that I still had Brian's receipts from the pool noodles and stuff. Remind me to give them to you Scott.

Must be snail mail, I took to post office in Lakeland last Thursday was supposed to get to you next day.

My day yesterday went from "that stinks" to " complete $^&@!" Toasted the motor in my mg at about lap 4 or 5. Then upon leaving the lake chris noticed I had a low tire. He had a compressor so we topped it off. It blew out on 75 on the way home... sidewall failed. I could buy a whole new mg for what those damn tires cost.....

Weird - I didn't see any visible damage to the sidewall when I was checking it for nails, screws, etc.. before we pumped it up. And from your description of what happened following the failure, I'm glad you're OK. You can buy a new tire, but you can't just go to the 'Scott store' and buy a replacement. /wink

Thanks Chris. Yeah I didnt see anything either but heres one of the pics I took on the side of the highway. Seems it just plain failed.

EDIT Best part of the story, I had one fail about 3.5 years ago but it was while driving thru down town b-ton and I heard it split. It would only loose air when that part of the tire would contact the ground and it would open it up. I made it to Steve whites in Palmeto before I had to pull over. So obviously I had to replace a tire. 8 or 9 months later I got the other 3 new tires. This one that just failed is the one that replaced the other failure.... even ended up in the same location, left rear

Those speed ratings are on the sidewalls for a purpose

Hugh the water was flat and little wind till 10 when a sprinkle came over By 10:30 it was a little breezy but great to run on

Hey Scott sorry to here about your flat. I know them tires get costly. I here running on low tire pressure causes the side walls to run hot to. Do you know if any pictures got posted from Sunday?
