Sure do hope the nicer weather projected so far will be with us Sunday. Wind speeds seem to be tapering off more each day so we might have a decent day for a change.

Like roll call "here!", but its not here, at my house, its there, at Ackerman.... Next time Ill just say, YES, BILL, I WILL BE AT ACKERMAN ON THE NEXT DAY OF SOCIALIZATION AND RADIO CONTROL BOAT RACING. Hopefully you cant twist that one too.

Hey guys im gonna be heading out to Florida right after the fe nationals, I race sat the 23 and then leave later that night. My sister lives in St. Petersberg on applecross st n. I will be staying at her house some of the time and be in that general area. Thinking about bringing a boat but not sure if i should. What do you guys think?
I think i just heard my geico canopy saying it misses Florida and wants to go back to the homeland.

If we were running our regular schedule, Sunday May 27th would be our normal (4th Sunday) race day. At the moment we're not realy sure of what we are doing in May since the 2nd Sunday (test n tune day) is in conflict with Mother's Day.
St Pete puts you about 35-40 miles from Ackerman so best information I can give you at this time is to stay tuned until we figure out what our May run schedule is going to be. Be sure to bring along your NAMBA card if the schedule works out for you.
Be careful on your canopy missing Florida, too. There's more than one canopy/hatch already at the bottom of the lake just waiting for some company.

That would really piss me off. I am gonna have to get some floatation on it and possibly sacrifice the inner seal. This hatch has been dropped a few times and nothing seems to happen. I've had enough boats swallowed by davey jones locker. I wonder if i will have issues with as much lithium as i want to bring in the air.

yes i have one of your hatches, one clue should be that i dropped it and still have it, i believe the stock canopy will shatter if you drop it the other clue is that the canopy is home sick for Florida. looks like i need to add some foam and ditch the inner seal. I really like my canopy and always have that fear of it popping off and sinking
