Ditto on the thank you to Scott and also a big thank you to Jeff, I wouldn't have run Mike's tunnel I borrowed if Jeff hadn't help set it up, Jeff is a great coach on the drivers stand as well. Oh thanks to Jim for bringing all of his tools, he had anything you would need. Wow I am still wore out from 5 days at the event. I think those stairs on the drivers stand got the best of me haven't used those leg muscles in a while, could barely walk when I got out of my truck after the 2-1/2 hour ride back this AM.

Yep. I taped all the OPC heats. So far only the 1st round of them is uploaded though.

I'll add in another thanks to Jeff while I'm here. He's an excellent coach and pit man. His finishes in spec hydro speak for his driving skills.

Congrats to all of our group who participated...looks like ya'll held your own against the best in the country although I am not surprised. Awesome job! Wish I could have been there. Strong effort Jim for a one-eye old fart. You are better than you think you are..Congrats Bill for bringin home some hardware and the great vids, Hugh - it was never a question that you can drive with the best in the country...Jeff - not surprised and well deserved that you are a national champ - you bested the best of the best. Balls up Osprey...I was pulling for you. Great job!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I was more than happy to help everyone with the pit work and of course helping set up boats. To bad my driving skills from saturday were not as good as they were on thursday. I am anxious to get some more time racing soon though.

I need to get my application in for the nats record in spec hydro. Hopefully it holds up for a while.

wish i would have taken your advise and moved my battery forward in my tunnel lol measured and checked the cg today and found it was a 1/4 inch back of where it should have been.....dont know why it ran so good on wed...moved the battery up a bit now its prob fine

Our 'team' was the best in helping each other. Like Hugh, I could hardly move on Monday. Just now starting to 'heal'. I left the wheelchair in the room Saturday and Sunday as there was so much sugar sand and tree roots it was more trouble than it was worth. So I did a lot of walking which my back protested loudly about.

We can say we participated in a NATS! Not many have had that privilege.

A special thanks to Jeff! He was kept so busy pitting for so many people that he could have easily lost patience, but not once did he protest and yes, he is an incredibly good coach on the stand! Jeff, thank you, thank you, thank you, and the best part (we roomed together) you don't snore! ;-)

Bill, Chris, and Ron, for relative newcomers you did great! I couldn't be prouder to be part of the Aquamaniacs!!

Great time had by all but I don't wanta do it again next week! Wow! What a workout!
