To All:
As a Junior Member of this foum and FE Sport Runner from North Carolina - I was lucky enough to be on vacation in Colorado during this FE Event, and actually got some pretty good video, mostly of Rounds 2,3, & 4 for all four days.
As time permits, I will be glad to share all video I have. Breaking in a new camera caused some video to be corrupt; however I am editing thru what I have and will post accordingly.
I will have to say that this is one of the best sport groups I have ever been associated with, and with the amount of knowledge present, and the willingness to share, just made the whole event that much more enjoyable. My hats off to a great national event.
Now to the good stuff! One of the most dramatic races of the event - filmed already in progress. Look to the 40 second mark, and freeze frame that segment - you can see boats in the air briefly on the right hand side of the screen. Wish I had been zoomed in for that. The last two videos show the aftermath.
Enjoy,

The guy holding the mono (with the hole in it) is Chris, he's a member of our Toronto club....it is (was) a sweet running Open Mono.

2010 namba fe nationals
Here is more video footage from NAMBA 2010 FE Nationals.
For your Supervee Lovers - here is a heat from Day 1.
Ken Haines told me that this was one the most poular classes at Wave Blasters of Florida Club
My commentary may not be spot on as I am learning as I go; however I didn't see any other boats other than the stock Supervees running.
Later on I found this post.

Here you go 6S-HYDRO - More racing, less crashing.
Q Hydro from day 1.
I was blown away by the speed and handling of this class, not to mention the driving.

I won the heat in that video. Mine was the red supervee with sparkles all over it.
I'd have to say Jason Simms was probably the smartest driver at the event it was amazing and won big.Last edited by BILL OXIDEAN; 08-29-2010, 01:49 PM.Comment

He probably has a back-up standing by.
I ask him kind of jokeingly if he planned to repair it, and he said it would never be the same, and for $ 200 bucks it probably wasn't worth it.
It looked like a pretty nasty hole.
Q-Hydro posted today.

Oh by the way, good luck at that next race.
