After hours you guys can do what you want but just so everyone understands........think of the lake as holy water. There will be ZERO tolerance for substances considered recreational in an way shape or form. You can enjoy the water or you can enjoy an adult beverage but never the two shall meet. Fred is borderline Nazi on this subject.
Gotcha, I like my fingers where they are and I don't care for fire much either.
It'll be Pepsi and water all day then since Wendy is driving, I'm aloud to let loose a little. Actually I'm quite a light weight with the drinks.
After a day of racing in the heat or rain I'm so tired I'm more into a good meal at the Elk's Lodge. If I get too wasted I can't get into the GF's truck.
Hey Terry/Fred....are there going to be food trucks etc like last year?
We're still pushing around possibilities on that. We even debated leaving it to each racer to fend for himself but that would be an absolute nightmare IMO. We're working on it. Not sure about cost but we have to at least arrange something.
Terry...I really think you need to keep the trailers away from the front of the pond. Mess up the views for a lot of people.
There are at least a half dozen versions of this sucker on my computer now. I may swap Newland and Haines. PAGS trailer isn't as tall as Haines and Dave's trailer is a cute little thing. View obstruction will be miniscule with those two tralers. I'm still debating shifting the tents and moving the trailers to the ends but the tents are the biggest offenders of view.
It's deceiving. There appears to be a ton of space but the ground is terraced if you think back. There slopes that you just can't use.
I'm also trying to keep a central aisle open to drive cars through. I want to be able to drive in dump your gear and drive back out. Not drive in and sit there to BS for a a half hour. In/dump/get out of the way. Caboda Ken can't possible handle this many people. I still have to clear it with management but I know he'll get it. In one end and out the other. Like food.
Hot pit will be moving to make that easier to manage. It will have an automated gatling gun with a wrist band sensor.
Good idea on the 'drive thru and dump'. When Kenny wasn't around last year, a few of us were carting stuff up that hill. Major pain (especially when it was wet from the MONSOON RAIN!)
