OK I have signed up just in case I can make it. Now what is the closest airport? Sacramento? who can I ship my stuff to? and how far is the drive from the airport????

I believe Sacramento is the closest airport. It is a 25 min drive north. If you want, you can ship your stuff to my house and I can drive it up with my boats etc.

P-Mono Questions

Can you guys help me with reviewing a Mono I just bought. I will enter it for my first race ever at the nationals. I just want to make sure it's legal and I'm close enough on the set-up that you guys don't lap me. LOL

Read the NAMBA rule book on the NAMBA site..

looks legal to me for P-mono, you have a Titan 29 there, (a little small nowadays for P-mono but it'll do fine) don't know what motor you have, but you will run it on 4S. Don't worry about speed, the most important thing is finishing races, P-mono is an extremely competitive class and fast, usually boats are TOO fast, usually 1/2 the boats in a heat end up upside down, drive smart, get a good pit man to guide you thru the rough stuff. Speed isn't everything FINISH all your races and you might just end up on the podium??? Stranger things have happened...................Right Dave Newland!!!!!

Allen-Mike gave some great info. Worth reading again and basing your race plan for the entire event.

Just don't pay attention to the last 3 words. Notice how he only wants to come for the Offshore day and not the P Mono day. He must be scared of something. And, that something quite literally has his name on it.

HEY DAVE!!!! I've got good news and bad news........First the real Bad news, my sister is most likely going to pass away in the next day or 2 so I am cancelling my plans to race in Fla this weekend. Shes been very ill for a long time. Well the bad news (for you) and good news (for me) are one and the same!!!!!! that means I will be coming to the Nats, definitely, and NOT just for the Offshore day but Tues thru Fri, Yes I am coming to defend my P-Mono and Q-hydro titles and my Offshore title and to reclaim my Q-Offshore title, and Yes I am all outta bubblegum...........Dave careful what you wish for It might just come true!!!!!!!!
