This boat has been a work in progress for some time. Late last month I got a maiden run in with issues (flex slipping and to small battery). Yesterday I got it out and still had flex issues. Turned out the loctite let loose in the stub shaft. Today I silver soldered it all up. Got out to the pond between showers. Was to windy really, but I had to run this boat.
I only posted the eventful video. My first video of 5 min is just small runs. All in all Im very happy with the performance of this boat. I just need to get it out on calm water. She would skip across the top of the waves and the prop would REALLY wind up when it came out of the water.
Then is happened. If you could only of seen my face...
But it popped back up. I thought the boat was a goner. Luckily the water must of been deep in that area! No mud or damage to boat! Sweet!
