    Pro Boat Formula FASTech Brushless

Finally got my videos uploaded from running the FASTechs on Dale Hollow. Flipped it twice while trying to jump the wake from the john boat. The camera guy didnt catch either. It is pretty much stock except for the OSE x642 prop. Running two GENS ACE 5000mah 50c lipos. I had also added some glass to the bottom of the haul to help its strength. This is my first actual R/C boat. I am more of a RC car guy.

The Fasttech is an underated boat IMHO... I've had 2 of 'em-- had a blast. Only issue is the hatch is very hard to tape to get a waterproof seal (pretty much impossible)-- the hull is very stable, but when it flips, you are gonna take on water. Seal the electronics box...

Nice calm water that day! Looks like yours is running real good and set up just right. A few nice jumps in there too.

I have to agree with Chief, the Fastech is an under rated boat for what it is...an affordable RTR boat..sure it has it's flaws, but for it to run so great without having to make any changes for beginners, has made it an excellent boat, at least for me. I also believe a lot of people don't care for the boat simply because of the look/graphics, as I always read comments on that. I took care of that issue by giving mine a custom paint job, so that is the basically the only thing I have done to mine. I am still running my boat 100% stock down to the stock prop tho. I did upgrade it to a 2.4ghz radio, but that doesn't count as a performance mod speed wise.

I started running it on 2- 6cell Promatch 4300mah NIMH packs and loved it then. I moved up to 4s-4900mah 20c Lipos after a year and it really woke it up. Yesterday I ran it for the first time on 5s 4300mah 30c lipos and WOW does this thing fly. Only got about 1 minute of run time due to pouring rain that moved in, but I at least got a chance to try it. I'm excited to finally run it through a set of batteries, and eventually see what an upgraded prop will do.

Have you ran the boat on 5s yet? Did you ever GPS your boat with your current 4s setup? Was their a noticeable difference with the upgraded Prop?

      Here is my Fastech:

I love these boats..very stable, quick, and just a really fun boat overall.
