    Turnigy Powered Sprintcat 40 Video

This is the 3rd run for this hull with this setup, First run on the new nano tech cells.

    Prop is propshop 5017

Still not happy with the speed its getting there, but not fun to drive quite yet, Going to try some slightly more aggressive props, then if that doesn't yield the results im after I will get a HV ESC and go to 8s and smaller props.

Once I find some more speed I will worry about it dropping a sponson in the corners, think its the tapered rudder.

    Matt.

Still getting there speedwise. Motor is a Turnigy 600, 1100kv outrunner. Cells are Turnigy Nano tech 45-90C 5000mah 6s1p. ESC is a Hextronik 120amp.

How are your temps? Really nice to see one of these outrunners go.... so you are running just one 5000mah pack too... eh? that seems like good speed to me for what you are working with.... what are your speeds...

no GPS speeds yet, not sure, I would say around 45-48mph.

Temps are low, Batteries were probably only just warm enough to be used, this was the second run on this pack for the day. The motor was warm, ESC cold.

Next time out I will see if I can get my hands on a propshop 5019.
Plans are to prop up until everything gets too hot or Im happy, and if that doesn't satisfy me the im going to get an HV ESC and try 8s..
Other option is to put my kb45 in. Yep two 3s 5000mah packs in series.

sorry to keep bothering you crabstick... but i've been trying outrunners now and want to try more....

Are you using a watercooled mount or a fan for cooling at all?

I think thats a great sport setup you have no question... especially if your temps are staying low.... also do you have a shot of "under the hood"?

            thanks again!!!

I thought it would sound like that when it was running, but alas. on 8s it might whine a bit more
