Mid 70MPH BlackJack 29 V3 GPS verified pics and info inside

Ok guys got the maiden voyage done on the new leopard 4074 2200kv motor and .187 shaft. These runs were on 7200mah 60C SMC 3s X2 packs for 6s. Today i just had my X642 prop as my X442 which was about 3mph faster on my 3674 1900kv setup which ran 65mph per GPS is at the bottom of the lake... I have another X442 coming in tomorrow from rocket city racing "guy does great prop work BTW" which is where my other X442 prop came from and i expect to see some more speed just from prop change. Today there were no adjustments and just 2 runs on the same packs without charging them as it started to rain on me! Cant wait to get to messing around with setup! The boat is still running surprisingly stable and flat!! And my X442 ran smoother and more flat then my X642 prop with more speed so very excited to see how it runs on this new motor!! If any of u are interested i have videos of the old setup with the 3674 motor running mid 60s. I'm sure ill have some video of this setup soon!

Here is a picture of the first run at 73MPH per GPS as u can see here.

I put the boat back in the water and ran it some more and got 74MPH didn't get a picture as when the rain hit i was out of there!! But hooked the GPS up to the desktop and got the GPS image for you guys. Cant wait to see what this thing will do after some adjustments and prop change!

So has Pro Boat improved the sponson geometry making blueprinting less necessary, & found a way to improve the strength of the seam between the upper & lower hull halves? I don't see any carbon fiber in there. Is the hull layup stronger than prior versions?

Did a quicky repaint on it as the clear coat was coming off of it. Nothing special ,just scuffed and repainted/cleared :)

I havent done anything to strengthen the hull. Its had its fair share of some roll overs and flips when pushing it too hard in rough water... But hasn't had a blow over at 70+mph yet. Seems to be doing ok so far. Im sure some fiber in there wouldnt hurt....

As far as the hull it handles really well. It doesnt bounce like i see so many of the last version. Here is a video of it on the motor i had in it before this one. A 3674 leopard 1900KV.

I have the same gps, having problems setting the time zone, can't download data after a run, battery life sucks, takes forever to charge and will drain even when the unit is off.......anyone else having problems with the H H gps?

What did you have the timing set to? Also, what kind of run times were you getting?
