I ordered an M645 yesterday from Kintec. I like Chris and he has always been very helpful. I'm going to try it out on my current set up and see what happens. Seems like a lot of pitch but what can happen other than I cook something like the stock motor which already has some major hours on it. So we'll see I'll let you know how it goes.
Like I said, it GPS'd at 44 mph. I hope to get closer to 50 mph just with the prop change.

4S2P on stock motor, back cut and tip cup M445 and I run 42-43mph. M445 on 5S would be too much i.m.o. Ive smoked 3 motors on my set up heat racing... literally. thats why I backcut the prop. Havent lost a motor since. Also had to go to 8mm bullets, motor to esc, yes 8, from 5.5 to try and help those Proboat chinsey wires stay a little cooler.

I just recently rebuilt a Mystic for a member, 4074 220 and ran a TFL 445 on 4s and it runs high 50s. Fantastic running boat, but as all will say, get squirrely at those speeds.

Best of luck to you and keep us posted

EDIT: OH and most importantly, Your boat looks fantastic!!!!!!

Here goes again. Boat ran great as always. GPS'd at 44.9mph which seems about right for stock motor, T-180 esc and an X642 prop. I used the old GPS from my car....it weighs about a pound, some I figure another mile an hour just by takin' out the GPS. Let me know what you think. I like both the shots. Catchin' air is cool but I wish it was sharper (I blamed the wife again).

Hey Guys, can anyone tell me.....do I need to change the timing on my T-180 esc to run the Leopard 4082-2200 that I have coming this week ?

I should probably start a new thread for this, huh?
