Well now ya got me thinking.I've got a little mono that's gonna need a facelift after being on the shelf for, umm,a long time,1990 something. Are those new releases?
Yes they are new I bought them on the bay. I' m not an airbrush pro, so with those sticker sheets the result is very nice and clean with imagination. I use permanent markers for details.
Some of the graphics and paint masks available for rc cars are great for boats, I'm king of the simple paint job then use decals or vinyl graphics to make it look alright.
I also like to race my boats and stuff happens, simple paint is easier to repair and still have the boat look good. A lot of times I don't even bother painting the bottoms of hulls, just scuff and go, unless they need some work to smooth things out.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
I go to my local auto parts store and look around at what they have and thats how i got my ghost flames on my hydro and when there for a real car there big enough to cover the hole boat if you want and usauly made good to with stand the weather..
I got these decals from Weston Graphics (except the Body Glove - that was left over from my Waterski days)
This is the 3rd make-over on this boat, and after a close encounter with a dredger, and destroying the nose and transom on another occasion,
I had no choice but to start over. Now running the UL-1 set-up and M-445 prop. We're back in businessSV 03.jpgSV 01.jpgSV 02.jpg
