There seems to be a discrepancy on your page(Venom) they have the Aluminum props as the pro machined and the red ones as the cast aluminum.

Interesting. Chris what are the Venom recommended batteries for each of the two different diameters? Also, how well balanced are the CNC props as they come?

I have a few of the CNC props, not by Venom but a different brand, if the programming is done right, the props are very well balanced, sharp and very light.

The prices are reversed, that will be corrected today.

The smaller 32mm diameter props would be for 5-6S and the 36mm for 3-4S. Thats conservative but will work.

                We expect them in October.

5-6s holy cow, so venom encourages running that high of voltage on these?

No you have to read the previous posts. I have suggested that if your going to run high voltage that you consider replacing the motors with lower KV units to balance out the system's amp draw. That in conjunction with smaller metal props will help tune the set up and you will reach speeds over 50mph.

Beyond the stock EKOS boat and 3S or 4S you really need to know boats and set ups so you dont burn up equipment. We think its a great boat to learn with because it has a lot of potential and its very stable at high speeds.

dude, I don't see where you said replace the motors to run 6s?

If you were to go with a kv of say 1900, then that motor would run the same rpm as the stock motor on 4s.. Or a 1400kv motor on 6s would run similar rpm as the stock motor on 3s, so the 36mm props should would work just fine on that 1400kv motor..?

I think we are all aware of what happens when you over load brushless motors and escs..
a lot of smart builders on this site..

Chris has been VERY forthcoming with info and a very new boat.

If we are that good of builders...and we are... then common sense and the rest when dealing with set ups should not be so dang hard.

Watching this one and some over on RC Universe makes me think these boats are $3,000!

Sorry to rant and a big thanks to Venom boys for continually stopping by and addressing questions. There service alone has me sold just watching this thread.
