Finally found a deal on a new hydraice for my spartan and ordered link, 8gauge wire(to make series off the esc), corrsionx,battery straps(for relocating rx box), am .187 insert, with step down stuffing tube with liner,3 cc 6.5 bullets for esc to motor connection, more tubing for cooling.i already had ec5 connetors for my two set of batts, and novak ss, jeff wholts flex cable(hope it works ok, i feel n see a kink where it meets to shaft and he told me to send it back but its almost as much as new one so ill just order more and keep as a spare.)have an octurax442 prop with dual trim tabs and cooling jacket for a stock motor from bm. Long dpu rudder fron kr. Any thing else i might need besides a better motor?
1) which way do you prefer, the esc mounted?. Motor to motor leads and batteries coming out the back. Cuz esc leads are as long motor leads, i could position the esc so motor leads comes out toward stern.
2)Can i cut the motor leads shorter as well?
3)How do i properly take apart the esc to spray on the corrsion x? Cuz i dont see a way to open one end, just four screws ontop...
4)is it a good idea to use shoegoo on the hull seams to beaf it up a lil.
5)i seen it posted but cant remember. Does it matter or is there a prefernce to which way the esc and motor wires match up.
6)Since i have long rudder should i trim a lil off the bottom and maybe get the 2075 servo for more turning power?
7)Any motor info i need to know to program the esc to motor?
8)Any recomendations as to baddest prop i could run on this setup without burning my stock motors up too quick(i have two motors so,lol)
