The composite(plastic) props flex alot.I mean alot.I put my plastic one against my Octura's and I would call it 1.4.So I would go with a 442 metal one.The stainless prop comes with the Stilleto and the Mystic which both come with the 1800kv motor and 60 amp speedies. The torque roll is from the prop being too deep, this also will not let it wind out.I have my strut up about 2mm from the sponson bottoms.I tried it up at 4mm and that would be good race trim(running with other boats),but by myself I like it a little looser than that.WAAYY more fun when it is barely on the water.

      Hey Jerry,
This setup is in a 32"deep v mono right ?
Is the prop sharped and balanced ?
May be try the Grim 3 blade for a minute or two and see if it helps with the roll and RPM.

Srislash, i have a x442 i can try,,seemed when i ran it with the MG composite prop it ran great not super fast but veryquick and no tork role, it is a vhull so cant realy adjust up the stinger!!
Lenny your wright its a 32'' mono, you thinking the GR 42something 3blade i resently got may work??
Ed, yep i also have the MG couldnt talk about all that cool stuff if i didnt have one too, hahaha, mine has the original motor, Turnigy 120a esc on a M445 prop but i run mine in 4s1p,,thats 2x2s batteries per side for a tatal of 4 batteries, runs super long and prity quick, not as fast as the other guys but still very fun and fast for anyone at the lake that sees it,,, thats Lake Royal here in NC very colm in the morrning around 7:30am but was super hot so you can see the haze, you can see the average ''with'' of the lake but its very long both directions, we water ski and everthing else there..

              Hey Mac,
No, I never saw that video, Shame he did it with his phone.
              Thanks for the showing.

Jerry, Yes if it is sharped right and balanced right,
Not to sure about Jim's props any more.
If the props are not sharp that you have that could make it have torque roll to,
              And the size matters to.

I wouldn't even try it.Again.If you could get it spinning straight on a lathe it would work but drilling it hasn't worked for me.

Of course that's possible, but you have to bring it to a machine shop.
