No worries Jerry - I just recalled one of our talks before about converting a Genesis canopy to a turbine version.
However, Im kinda deep myself with some gas boat projects that Im getting delayed in producing old previous projects thats due for the longest time. Hopefully, we could get back to discussing that again in the near future.

You guys are lucky as that is printed over there - I wonder how much will it cost to have a boat mag shipped here?

Yeah Jerry - we are like 10 pages a week now! Wow!

I had that happen with my 36" shockwave mod to FE,
So I drove it backward and forward and backward to shore.
Had it happen a couple times to me.
I run with just one bolt in the top of the rudder and keep it snogged up,
But loose enough to flip up when it hits something.

Since we recently talked about kick-back rudders and plastic rudder shear bolts, I thought you might like to see the pics below. There's a discussion over at Jim's Dock about rudders hitting stuff and you tend to loose any control due to the rudder staying up.

Rubberband would be installed below the bracket, right?
                      Or maybe a rubber O-ring?

Mac think about this have a stud sticking out of one side of the rudder just under the bracket and one stud sticking out of the bracket with a rudder band around both and the rudders top bolt could act like a hindge so when the rudder gets kicked up the rubberband would pull it back down in to place then you could make it back to shore and connect your rudder all the way like normal,,,,, i dont no just an idea..
Ed thanks for the attachment ill have to look into it,, when i get home tonight ill take some better pics of the cover,,
