Thanks jason! Macdon called up pobox.ph and they quoted it at $160 from their L.A. warehouse to Manila. However, I'm trying to get a quote from another forwarding company Johnnyair that has a branch in Daly City, Ca. They quote based on weight or dimensions, whichever is higher. So, do you have a approximate shipping weight of the box? Sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you my friend. Thanks!

I would guess that the shipping weight would be no more than 20 lbs. I could shorten the box down to 46 inches in length if that would help in costs.

Thanks bro! I'll call Johnnyair now for the 54x19x13 and 46x19x13 @ 20lbs shipping cost.!

From your first post, the length is 54", so dropping it to 46" would definitely be cheaper as the difference of 8" is substantial. Hopefully, that would shave $20 off the shipping price. Hopefully, more.

                        Stephen:
I prefer Pobox.ph as they only base the shipping cost from the size of box. That means, you can fill the box with whatever and could even weigh a ton, but you're charged the same.
Companies that would need both size of box and weight, would probably charge you a rate whichever is highest between both - I bet they would even charge you import duties and other misc charges disguise as taxes. Im sure you know the drill.

                          Stephen - I called pobox.ph the quote of $160 for 54" length is now $125 for 46".
Pobox even repacks for FREE if they think the box is too big - without sacrificing the integrity of the item inside.

Well Mac, after checking with Johnnyair, I think pobox is the better route to take. Thanks for all the help brother.
