Right now in my CF cat I have 4082 1820kv's.I'm running on 4s for now to make sure all is good but 5s or 6s will be in the future. It's not going too bad on 4s though,I am only running 445 props(small). So it would be good too have room to grow with those motors.Oh,and, everything is so cool temp wise too.Might be the ice i'm running in.
And speaking of I got out today and here it is, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8J7ck...MWgjuQMOdfMsF4

    Wait for the finish

X445? Geeeez! I only have X442's props! temperature here in The Philippines is at 73.3 to 91.4 Fahrenheit on average when the weather is good. It rises up during summer time.

My genesis is running twin 3660 2700kv on two 4s batts with 37mm props and it runs upper 40s with temps under 85 degrees. I think the 1512 would work great!!!! If you dont want them I will buy them from you and put them in my Genesis!!!!!LOL

Hahaha! I have one 1512 on hand and I'll pick up the other one from my friend maybe next week when I'm free. I'm thinking of twin 1518's but it might get too heavy?

Aren't all those motors the same size/weight.The 1518's are 2650kv right? Those would be good sport 3s and probably rippin on 4s.Like Jasons Genesis, except with a 1518 I think you could prop up,440's,442's.

So the 1512 is 2650.I am mostly familiar with robbing these motors from the Mamba Monster car systems.1515 is 2200kv and the other popular one(1512?) is 2650kv.

Oh,it's not stripped yet?Just kidding.Got my canopy today,Looks good Macdon except now I'll have to move the 180,the caps are right where the turbine vents are.Where's my Castle controller? Then it won't be a problem.

I think I can just move it to the other side of the prop shaft.

Shawn actually there are two versions of the Castle 1512's. One is the 1512 1.5Y 1800kv and the 1512 2650kv.

Ahha thats what it is then,I was looking for one for my Miss Bud hydro but then realized I have a 2630kv Hacker motor that I paid $200 for quite a while back. The 1/12 hydros don't have much room for batteries so I'm thinking high kv less battery cells.

Hackers are great German motors but really pricey! I have the clone ones (Feigao) but great value for the buck and kicks really hard too! Hehehe!

I got it locally used from a gas guy.He used it a couple time to his disapointment. It's only a 36mm can but it should work in the hydro or maybe the little mono.Is the weather good down there Stephan? We're back to rain again.
