Nothing definite yet - just researching and checking viability. I will post if I get to start.

          To be.........or not to be?

Im trying to attempt something I've never done before, so kindly bear with the following pics. No ride pads constructed yet, but just thought I'd post what I've done in a couple of days.

All cardboard construction for now. Everything will be bondoed and shaped before any canopy could be planned.

WOW Macdom! That is amazing! I could never build a boat out of cardboard and have it look anything like that. Truely a craftsman..... Keep up the good work and try to get some sleep!

That looks great Mac,I figured you'd start with the cardboard. Its easiest to work with and if your planning on making more it'll be easy to make a mold.

Hey guys, here a little sumthin sumthin. This is a old plastic race hull of mine.I revived it last spring and promptly blew everything in it.
So now it has a CC 1415 and a Fightercat ESC.Runs real good as it used to so now it is time for cosmetics.I'm looking for opinions on the shape of this canopy as it is bare foam epoxied to the plywood
                              reno 001.jpgreno 002.jpgreno 003.jpg
So I'm thinking a windshield and perhaps some little notches behind to look like ducts.Just looking for opinions whether it is swept enough, too boxy, you know.

Shawn your hull looks like a cigarette offshore boat racer. I think a open type canopy with 2 drivers will look great on it. Scale like too! Macdon made one like it for our SM29 v-hull. The detail of the drivers with helmets are really nice. Go back several pages. He posted a photo showing the 3 different canopies he made for our SM29. One of them is the canopy that I'm talking about.
