Of all the pics taken last Sunday by my daughter and her friend, this pic stands out for me. The MG is completely out of the water and you can see the prop skimming the surface...........

Srilash thanks for appreciating! Too bad that flame theme doesn't exist anymore. I change the theme patterned from Hummertime catamaran in the picture below. You can also see my SV27's current theme. It's the 2nd from the left.

Macdon Your talent in creating stuff is hard to beat! I can't even make a small mold. Hahaha! The latest canopy is outstanding! Nice photo of your mg in action.Too bad I don't have a MG yet!

Hydrojerry I love those scale boats too. Macdon makes 1/6th scale WWII vehicles. It's really nice to have a boating group. There's a huge pond 1 mile away from me. But, it's close now due to water Lilly. Macdon and I usually travel about 25miles 1way to meet up with our boating buddies. Not to mention the tool fees! Darn!

Jasoncyclone That MG with 1515 is very interesting. Please post vids will yah man?

Since we're in picture mode what do you guys think of this for simple but flashy
Paint 002.jpg I know Hydrojerry has seen it but I think it'll be good on the water.I didn't want to cover up too much Carbon fibre. This is my twin winter build that is almost finished already.I may have to get creative to keep the hobby alive with this much winter left.
Although I bet it would take me awhile to match up a canopy paintjob Macdon.
I have about the same temps around here and the same feelings as Hydro in regards to running boats in shorts at this time of year.

I definatly had to move mine as I run 4s2p.It was becoming a pain so since it was getting painted anyway....
Tagasagwan,I like the Hummertime, and the reptile job too.The guys in Florida might dig that.
Oh yeah,I've got a Contour cam now and a mount on my hat so I should get the Miss Behavin' out sometime. It can't stay gloomy all the time, can it.

Wow! Srilash! That is flashy! Too bad those hulls are too expensive for me! Good for you man! can't wait to see it run! What are those things sticking out at the back? Are those vents? I've been telling macdon to venture into Carbon Fiber or Carbon Kevlar. It will make pretty nice and strong hulls! I wonder how much will it cost for a carbon kevlar MG hull? Hehehe! Then we don't have to paint them. A few decals will do!

The reptile themed SV27 is owned by a friend. he sold it a year ago. The reason we painted those boats is because we were asked to put them on display during the TAGCOM (toys & Cosplay exibit) and they were also featured on 2 tv shows from 2 different networks. link for more pics of the event Hehehe!

The vents are actually where the water exits. The hull came with indentations there and blanks to go over(I assume for mounting stingers). So I thought they would look good as exhaust/turbine vents raised a little. Then the water outlets came to me.Just something different.
The carbon is pricey and thin too.I beefed it up in case of blowovers.I also did alot of work on the seam to get the sides perfectly smooth. It's in my thread http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...hawn-s-Shocker

Its great to see you guys posting your boat paint works as I'm gathering ideas. Im about to embark on my first gas boat which is currently in all white gelcoat stage at this time. Im leaning towards another Geico themed paint scheme of their caveman/cigarette racing deep vee boat, so I gathered some reference pics from the net and logos that Im hoping to be replicated from the custom decal guys over here.

Its not that its written in stone, so I guess I still could be swayed to other designs - but if I cant find anything, i'd go for the Geico theme.

Yeah, ive been following your twin build. Really nice build. Should haul with 10xl's! Especially on 6S! I just installed two T180s in my genesis. My MG has a Cc1515 2200kv with t180 2s2p turning a 42x55 prop. It move pretty well for my first FE.

That's a great shot there Mardon, (macdon). Funny I don't have any great shots of mine that I took but one of my friends got some great shots one day when we were boating together when I was still living in Washington state.
