Just wanted to write up a short story on how I got this great boat a short time ago.
Got the surge crusher last fall, and did some video's of the upgrades I had done, and showed them to a friend of mine (a dad in my son's class) as i knew he was into rc cars. He thought it looked cool and we talked about the miss geico , that just got out,but with winter comming , it was just talk.
So with the spring ,and ice free waters again, we talked a little more about boat's
and a few weeks later he had the MG in his car and we were of to take a test drive. I brought my Crusher , and we had a blast driving Fig 8, untill he hit me hard in the side, flipping the mg , and I had to push him in, with a hole in the side of my SG.
Eventually we got the boat's shore and called it the the day.He was really sorry to have hit me, but I said no worry.It's fixable.
But after some day' s he sent me a mail, wich said that , hey man, I thought about the crash, and heres' what we do. I allready got another geico on the way, with some goodis (180 esc/ 2000 kv leopard/offset ruder/ bullets etc) , so here's the deal, you CAN HAVE my old(neew one time tested) Geico, in return of the crash and you helping me out with the build.
So I was like what man, are you for real.? So here I am with a nice MG. On 180 esc stock motor and prather 215 from the Surge Crusher.
Talk about a great friend.
So on to my questions :
How hard should I carve up the bottom of the boat.Just rub it lighty with some fine sanding paper ?
On 5s. On witch side is it recommended to have the 3s pack ?
What size is the stock motor (500/600) I want to have a cheap HK motor in reserve .I have the turnigy 500 3126 1600kv, but this might be too small. ? The turnigy 600 h3736 1970 ore the 1760 kv would be better?
