I am a bit confused about the center of gravity in Miss Geico. The instruction manual states "the center of gravity of the boat should be 30% (9-inches (228mm) from the rear of the boat)." I have measured the spot from the transom and it works out to almost exactly the wood crossmember aft of the motor. So here`s the delema; with my bateries all the way back touching the transom the boat is still very bow heavy. When I put a rod under the boat to find its CofG it works out to 1 1/4 inches ahead of the first mark. That would equate to using the back of the sponson to measure from. Can any one shed some light on this for me please.
