When i think about it a forgot to mention one thing i have on the last two runs been using some Three blade props from Aquacraft ( Part number: AQUB7888) Not sure about the pitch on these, all that the lable says is 40mm.

I have gotten similar speeds as the stock props, only better off the line and 2-3Mph slower on the top.
During all the runs i have been watching the temps, motor and ESC never got past 100F, Batteries maxed at 120F and the deans was maxed at 140F.

After my last run everything was normal so i dont think this could have anything to do with my problems, but what do i know.

Have you tried unplugging the 3 wires to the motor and plugging them back in ?
Could be something loose in those joints ?

Just came off the phone with my LHS and they will give me a new Proboat ESC as a warrenty clame.

The only downside is that they dont have these ESC's on hand so will have to order one. Looks like there will be another 4 days of waiting for me then.

If someone has any other ideas, bring em on, will try everything untill i get the new ESC.

Got the boat up and running again. What had happend was that i had used the transmitter on a car, and therefor turned the trim all the way down.

When hooking it up to the BJ26 again the ESC obviously did not get any throttle readings from the motor becouse when the trigger was in idle the throttle was way under idle becouse of the trim and when giving full throttle with the trigger it was also below idle.

Did not notice this becouse the thr trim is not what you think about and the dots on the screw is not very visable.

Returned the thr trim to idle and worked like a sharm.

PS: Forgive my bad english :P

I had that happen this weekend, we took the blackjacks with us on our boat and the one wouldn't do anything. I unplugged and reset everything but still no throttle. In the mean time my other son barrel rolled his and lost one of the batterys! The water was pretty rough...

I brought everything home and started to play around with it when i noticed the throttle trim was way out.

Other than lost battery it was a good weekend, we can be hard on equipment!

Not had time to try it yet, been raining cats and dogs last couple of days. Aint it ironic that we dont want our boats to get wet :P

Will try to get some runs tomorrow, the forcast looks good. Then i will hook up the 5S and Bec tomorrow after getting some runs with the new props and have a go at that.

                    I'll let you guys know.
