i am currently running two 6 cell smc ib 4200 nimh packs. i think one of th packs is bad because it doesnt even get warm when i charge it. so i am going to upgrade to two 7 cell packs. i just want to know if anyone has used EP 4500 7 Cell Stick Pack for OSE? and if these are any good. or if anyone has any other sugestions. i am not looking to use lipos. i just want to go as fast as i can i nimh. and i know i will need to disconnect the BEC with 7 cells. thanks for the input

Yeah I just starting running with a set of 7-cell 4500mAh batts and never looked back! What do you mean when you say "i know i will need to disconnect the BEC with 7 cells". I haven't made any changes and everything seems to be working really well. -
I am by know means the expert here, but personally my boat is faster with a pair of 5000 2s lipos than with my 7 cell packs. Seems to handle a little better too.Yes its fast, yes it will go far away, yes its expensive. No you cant try it.
