    Nice line of thinking but no. Use the rated resting/stored voltage. at each cell being 3.7v 2s would be 7.4, 3s 11.1, 4s 14.8, 5s 18.5, 6s 22.2

    You do need to disconnect the bec, but running a seperate rx pack makes the esc work that much less and really helps with heat. Another great thing for you guys to do is to dump those deans connectors and swap to 5.5mm bullets. It will help with heat and amp draw. All the little things really make a difference.
