      To see some pics of my set up look in the members list it shows the speedmaster hardware on my boat, no pics of the inside yet.
      your best bet is to cut a new flex shaft but before you do solder the area your going to cut first.

        flex shaft is on the way from ebay, I'll use this one anyhow (if no warnings from anyone on safety???)

          Looks ok, yeh lose the u-joint flex shaft, it will brake in time.

            any other comments? all are welcome before I start cutting the fins :)

                I agree with G-unit the U-joint is the boats weakest link for sure. Your strut looks a little deep also. I would start with the bottom of it level with the bottom of the sponsons.
