Why the hell did Pro boats use .117 dia

3mm for their shafts? Makes no sense! The motors are .125 and there coupleing is makes my motor move up and down as I turn the prop. I can use a lath to make a new one. But it would be much easier to have .125 to .125.. Am I the only one here with this problem
