I'm finally going to get a chance to go to the lake tomorrow and open it up with the 1814 3 blade props that I have on it. At 2100 watts each motor, I may try some 1914 3 blades and see if I can blow up the ESCs. lol
Did you do your test Rafael ??

Rafael's setup was noticeably faster and more powerful than my stock setup. I'll let him chime in with the details. Had a great day running at the local lake but was pretty choppy for the cats.

Ok, Im back. I didnt let the boating consume the trip but had some fun. I ran the 3blade 1814s and bashed the hell out of this thing, finally flipping it. Knocked the motors out of alignment, 81 on the gps. Those props have a ton of grip and like to bring the nose up. Messed around with the 1815s with not so good conditions, stayed planted at 82.6.. Ran the 1915s pretty hard with the batteries all the way forward to be safe. I could have pulled them back but didnt want to retrieve. image.jpg https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=...&v=HeDM4-uN7pM Didn't move the struts. I was worried the motors wouldnt wind up with the big props but they don't care one bit. This boat is fun as, well you know. This setup has been super reliable and easy to work with. Thanks again to Rapael/Proboat and the forum peeps. More to come

Are you running the 10-degree or the 17-degree?

17 degree. Running the ESCs at the back if the battery tray and 4 revo 5800 packs under the bow. Gg is way forward but still handles like a monster. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dSOwl6QmXP0

Id think the leo 4074 would haul without having to add support to the motor. I would go with the 180 as well. Pulled just under 70 with this combo in my blackjack.

I ran mine last weekend with 2 x leopard 4074 2000kv motors, 2 x Turnigy 180a ESCs, and x447 props. With very few adjustments, mine ran 76.1 mph on 6s and was stuck to the water. There is lots more left in this set-up. This is a great boat.

Is it really necessary to detounge the octura x447 propson the zelos? if yes, why you need detounging your props? what is the difference between detounged and not detounged?

I think someone told me, leave it with the tongue if you wanna get out the hole faster like a cannon or detounge if you want a smoother acceleration outta the hole and increase top speed.
