But but but..... orange tubing and a Lehner.....you guys better watch yourselves! I'm telling you......experience & knowledge be damned!
The 48's I think can go over 60 and higher. But the setup has to change and the conditions would have to be right. 65ish or thereabouts stock I think might be doable.
The only way to 100 with my 48 is with sticks of friggin TNT. Way I figure it.... getting the boat to hang together might be an issue......PERTH AUSTRALIA

[QUOTE=baller69;672086]Lots of unsubstantiated hype in this thread. 12 horsepower = 9000 watts...that's over 300 amps per motor. What ESC will stand that for very long? Might work okay in a geared car (or a boat for SAW-type runs) but of course the guy has no SAW experience and doesn't know much about that facet of the sport. Sounds like most car guys do when first entering FE - they think they know it all until they start burning things up right and left. And Darin's post is spot on.
Hey, the guy has 2 posts, no FE cred and his claims sound like total BS. But I don't know that, he may be entirely legit. He can prove it by supplying some proof of his car speed records, video of the Castle factory, someone to vouch for his claims, etc. Or he can continue to post self-promoting hyperbole. I really don't care.

How old are you? I'd guess about 15 or 16 years old because the way your talking, you remind me of my son. Now. Your going to put me to shame? Yea. I bet you are. You have no clue what your talking about. I know what a Cordova motor is (castle/neu design copy) made from some guy in his garage. They may be good motors, but I don't care. Lehner. Yea man I've never heard of those. I've only had about a dozen of them and 90% of them failed. So yes, they are the best motor in the world. Evidently you haven't seen any of what I've done or built. Cars and boats aren't even close in comparison on how you make them fast. Cars are much easier and not near the challenge. I think you need to do a little homework and research before you come here spitting out all of these outrageous numbers on you "calculator" because it's not going to happen like you think. I bet you don't hit 100 with either of your boats. Prove me wrong. I know you won't. I have the fastest stock powered zelos out there. I've got a little 32" cat that runs 102mph on 4s. With only 35-38k Rpms. I've got a 26" boat that runs 92 on 4s. 37" single that runs 100. Your a long way off and if you think your going to pull any of this off with a rtr boat.....your sadly mistaken
here is the reply the ass with to the guy with the snot green boat post right back after i just sent him a message that said who i was and what i was building and trying to acheive.he just kept cutting up my build so of coarse i am not taking this punk asses *!***!***!***!** so screw him anghis crap as all i asked him to do was if the post i wrote and sent if he could post for me as i have had not any privilidge postage yet cause i was new.steve from off shore just personally mesaged me now and welcomed me about and said this is nonsense so if i was in the wrong why would i get that post.the guy with the green boat is just simply a jack ass punk regardless if he has 80 years expereance.if you treat people you dont knoe like that for just simply asking you to post a statement for them.there is really something wrong in your head.i think you should revisit your doc for stronger meds but thanks steve for the message have been talking to you for the pass year and a half now:)Comment

While we are at at it......
CLARINGTON 2008 -- More than a year after telling police his luxury vehicle was stolen, a Clarington man has been arrested on allegations he filed a false report. An insurance company paid off the man's $50,000 car loan after he reported his 2005 Cadillac stolen from the vicinity of the Five Points Mall in Oshawa in July 2007. Cops acting on information received this summer conducted a further investigation and found the vehicle in storage in Courtice. Dallas Richard Duguay, 31, of Cousins Street in Clarington, is charged with fraud over $5,000, public mischief and perjury."
