    Proboat 1800kv motor maintenence

    Does anyone know if it is possible to change the in the proboat 1800? it is how do you get the can open

        ya I sswear I typed the word bearing in there some where. the text editor on this site seems to cut and paste words when it wants to. funny. I wanted to change the bearings a motor I acquired through a trade but I managed to get the endbell off by heating with a micro torch and tapping on the shaft tilll it broke loose. After all that the rotor was shot

          Quick question sorry for thread jacking, but do u know if u r able to cut the motor wires? Or r they part of the motors windings?

              Sorry, I couldn't chime in earlier but, the AQ 1800 front end bell is threaded on (and rear too I think?). Were there any threads on the PB endbell? That would give reason to a possible smashed rotor??

              I have a used AQ rotor if you want to go Frankenmotor.

                Unless you want to send me the case and I Frankenmotor it out. Diameter is different I think?
