    Flood chamber version

Any thoughts on a version with a flood chamber?

Or how about a version without radio/reciever?

One of the redeeming characteristics of the mono hull is that it can be installed with a flood chamber. I would think there would be a huge market for an RTR or ATR mono with a flood under $400 bucks.

(I love my syncron, but it is tough on the bank account...)

What about a Tenshock mono1, fast, stable, self-righting and under £300. I don't k now what they go for in the states but possibly around $400. It's a much better hull and power package than the SV27, similar speeds but on only 2s.

Chuck makes a kit to add to your SV. Cheap too.

I actually have one of these-- could only find one second hand-- could not find one new for US market...

Do you know where to obtain replacement motor/ESCs for these? My boat is overheating after about 2 minutes and is only running about 25mph on 3S... suspect a bad motor.

The motor is a tenshock 1530 the wind seems to vary depending on where you get it, over here they are sold with 7 turns 3950kv for 2s mono1 racing, but the tenshock catalog lists it having a 1530 8 turn 3450kv, there's something wrong with your speed and heat it should be in the 40-50mph range for 6 minutes without getting too hot on 2s 5000mah, Maybe it was overpropped for 3s and de-maged the motor.
