    first run stories and questions

well i just got back from the lake and i ran my sv and i was quite impressed with this boats speed! but it takes a long time to get on a plane so i was just wondering if there is a better prop or somthin to fix that?? and another thing is the water cooling, it dosnt work at all so i was just going to get a pick up or 2 to munt to the hull. other then that it is a great boat and lots of fun!

Is your boat stock? The X640 or X642 work pretty well.

Are you running 6 cell or 7 cell packs. 6 cell I would go with the X640 or X642. 7 cell, I would go with X637, X640, X440, X442. Main thing is to watch the temps with the bigger props.

The Grim racer 40X53 and 42X55 work pretty good too.

Lipos would give you a big improvement in speed. Just need to get a decent lipo charger. I found these today. http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ead.php?t=9394

Have you found some with good current potential? I don't have any experience with Li-Fe, but I've read that they don't put out much current. Could be wrong.

i was thinking these ones and re wiring the esc to parrelel instead of sieres

or 2 of these but they are way over priced

LiPo batteries and Lithium Ion batteries for UAV, UAS, VTOL and robotics. Assembled in the USA.

                      \
or i could get 2 2s to save money

Not for 8S. 4S4P would be ok. But the weight might be a problem. Those packs are 11 oz. each. 4S2P would be better.
