    setting up the esc

so i got my sv27 the other day and i had to change the connectors to traxxas ones and i just got them today, any ways i turn one the stock transmitter and plug in the batteries, 1 beep, full throttle, onother beep, let go of the throttle and then alot of othe beeps. i did that and it all went great! but then i un plug my batteries and re plug them in and i the esc just plays beeps one after the other and just the steering works but no throttle? whats wrong? and another thing i want to know is do i need to do anything to program the esc or anything after i install my spectrum dx3s? thanks

that esc is usually plug and play. The only thing I can think of is your throttle trim is way off.

try reversing your throttle servo from your transmitter.

                    From Aquacraft's website: http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/techs...qub17tech.html
To arm the AquaCraft SuperVee 27 Brushless power system, follow the steps below:

Install fresh "AA" batteries in your AquaCraft transmitter.
Turn the throttle trim knob - located on the far right top of the transmitter - fully counter-clockwise (see illustration).
Make sure that the throttle servo reversing switch is in the down position (see illustration).
                    Turn the transmitter "ON".
Install two charged, 6-cell battery packs in your SV27 Brushless boat. Then, plug them into the ESC (electronic speed control) inside the boat.
                    Listen for a single beep.
Pull the throttle trigger all the way back (as if to apply full power). Listen for a single beep.
Release the throttle trigger to neutral and listen for the five remaining beeps. Your boat is now ready to operate.
If your boat does not beep in the order listed above, re-check the settings on the hand-held transmitter and repeat the steps above.

When you switched to the spectrum radio (I have the same one) make sure you did not turn the esc plug over when you plugged it into the reciever

If the steering servo is working make sure the ESC plug is plugged in the same way. Also hook the stock radio back up and see what you get if it works then you know its something with the new radio.
