    SV27 Righting Howl?

I was on eBay a while back, and I saw that a guy was selling howls for the SV27 that allowed the boat to right itself after a flip. I should've bought one then, cause now I can't find it anywhere! Does anyone know where I could get one? Or any alternatives?

I was thinking about it, since it seems like the only option so that the boat rights itself. Have you got any other ideas?

Ive never once even considered any type of self rightening system for my SV.
              Its all in the finger.
With no control of your boat you will be seeing alot of its underside.

I have the rollover cowl and it does work but sure looks funky. Hey H&M did you ever post a picture of the inside of your flood chamber setup with the batteries installed? If you did I missed it I would like to see that.
As far as the rollover cowl if anyone gets one tape it on REAL good it is a big old thing and it can get knocked off if not taped on. I only use it when I am too lazy to carry my rescue boat down to the lake. It makes the boat look like some sort of flying bird head.

Do any of you think placing styrofoam in the top of the howl would help it right itself?

Z400- My boat's pretty stable now but every once in a while it still does flip. I've trimmed down the flaps in the back and tucked in my rudder, which seemed to help a lot. At the moment it looks pretty good, but sometimes it hits its own wave and just goes right over.

Thanks Will it looks great. What batteries are you using they look pretty slim which seems to help with the fit.

Thats why they call it the Superflip! Foam in the howl (now you've got me saying it!) I mean cowl won't work unless you get a big rollover version. You are on the right track with the trim tabs it made a big difference with mine. Get you cg forward and add some weight and make it run about 40 mph. Any more is just asking for trouble.
