Do these LiPos have enough mAh?

Zippy Batteries are all out of there 5000mAh 2S but they have a hundred
2S1P 3700mAh for $20.50ea.!!!??? My 5000 7 Cell NiMh I only recharge about 2500mAh. Is there a chance these batteries would work? I run a UL 1 ESC and a 2300 Ammo Motor. For a little over $20 bucks each I hope they will

    Hello Randall,
These will work. I recommend getting a LVC (Low Voltage Cutoff) of some sort. Liposhield is one that some members use, but there are others.

Yes, buy a low voltage cutoff for the boat.
Those lipos will be fine, and once you switch to the 5000mah lipos,
you wont look back to the 3700's.

Thank you for the help guys.
Does the one cell in parallel help the battery act like a larger mAh
or is that already factored in the 3700 mAh rating?

That's already factored in. But take a look here for a better understanding of Lipos.

is the Y-harness in the picture shown at the bottom of that page for charging in series? Just curious to find out if this can be done or not, it would be nice to be able to charge 2 packs at once.

Does the C rating on the Lips play into this configuration at all? currently looking for a new ESC and have 2S 4000mah 15c lipos and 2s 5000mah 20c on order?

                      C rating

Yes C rating plays a big part don't use 15c batteries you need 25c or bettery the more C's the more avalible power I almost burned up my boat with 15c batteries
