    Making a reliable boat...

I just finished putting together my used SV27. Here's what I did:

Stripped it down to a hull, including removing the "battery trays"

The drive line was loose, so I aligned it properly and epoxied it in place.

    Coated all wood with epoxy

Installed OSE trim tabs (with silicon)

Reinstalled the rest of the other hardware (with silicon)

    Installed OSE drive cable

    Installed 40x52/3 Prop

Filled hull space with pool noodle stuff

I'll be using Zippy 2s20c5000 batteries

    ---

So I'm down to the water lines and I'd like to replace those. I've got an entire spool of this:

    Venom 50' Ultra Fuel Tube

It appears that it may have a bit smaller id than the water lines on the boat, but I don't have a way to accurately measure. Is this good to use, or is there something else that I should use?

And of course, what did I miss?

I'm a complete noob (other than my Villian EX with the OSE props)

    Thanks

    Dan

That blue line will be just fine

put a coat of wax on that filthy thing and put some kool stickers on it

you need the other turn fin and that prop's not going to work, you need to put it on my ul1 :)

I dont suggest running a nitro fuel line.
A specific spool of water cooling line or line for a gasoline engine will be much more suitable.
You WILL NEED the inside diameter of the cooling line to be as big as you can get it.

Thanks Sean. Do you have a link to something appropriate?

You can use Air Line for fish aquariums which can eb found at pets mart and wal-mart.
There is also water cooling line sold here at OSE.

                  Wow!

                  Thanks Sean....

Well, we took our new bundles of joy to the pond today. I knew these things were going to be faster than my old Villain EX, but holy jeez... This thing hauls. The first time I got on the throttle, the prop was cavitating, then it started to hook up and got faster... and faster... and faster... and well, you get the idea. Blistering. MonsterMaxx's UL1 was even faster... What a blast!
