found the threads stripped out on my rudder blade, tried swapping out the blade with a club members new blade(his spare), and had slop(rudder could turn 5degrees(or more). dug into the problem and found that the flats on the pin that holds the arm & blade together didn't line up with set screws. two of the flats are close to being right, the third...not close. got out the dremel and extended one flat, then shimmed the gap between the arm and blade, that pretty much eliminates the 'slop'.

well less some one says different...the prop that it came with, when we say stock we mean it :). btw finished modding my rudder pin, now there is no slop in the rudder assy :)( race prep 15 min, repair rudder another 15 min, hard part is getting the pin out...)Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came inComment
