    Setting the esc?

Just a couple questions because I'm curious. When setting the ESC in my SV27 it says I will hear 5 beeps after I let off the throttle. (stock radio that came with kit). I only hear four beeps. Does this mean anything?

Also I read this before..."Grim says; Like to let you know the beeping you are hearing when setting the ESC is coming from the motor. When programming a brushless system, you can actually program different sounds the motor can make. This is not your mom's motor". How do you program it to make different sounds and can you program it to do anything else?

    Thanks, Aaron

Mine beeps 4 times also. Goes like heck, crazy fast! I don't like the low voltage battery cut off setting, is there any way to give me more reserve time. I had this cut off 100 meters from shore and didn't have enough power to get back in after it took 5 mins to reset!!!!! I'm running 6 cell 3300 and 4200 mAh NiMh's.

Funny thing i upgraded to a tactik 2.4 radio that comes with the UL1 and now my SV27 ESC don't work properly it starts working and beeps 4 times when i push reverse then once it's armed i have to switch the radios throttle REV switch then it works farward?

I tried everything this is the only way i can get it to work..Any ideas?

I'm using a Futaba FASST 2.4 and have to use the reverse setting onthe throttle channel as well. I also had to set the Tx to full negative trim on the throttle channel.

I also only get 4 beeps when setting the ESC.

Check to see if the esc is plugged into the receiver properly. The plug might be reversed.

...AquaCraft also tells me that the esc is programmed at the factory. I don't know that much about these esc's, perhaps they can be re-programmed with a programming card?

there is ONLY ONE proggraming option via stick moves for enabling/disabling the brake

Maybe this is what you hear....

Thank you. I am trying to figure out how to give me a little more battery reserve by adjusting the low voltage/current cut off. My esc cuts motor power but rearms after 4-5 minutes but there isn't enough power to get back to shore from more than 50 yards out before it cuts out again!

Sv controllers dont have low voltage cut-off. Your batteries are too weak. Use lipos

Thanks, I thought maybe the esc was like my aircraft esc's that cut off the motor but left enough reserve for control surfaces to land safely.
