That nut fits the stock shafts, this one is for the upgraded one.

The upgraded shaft uses a sorter stub shaft, it makes it easier to adjust the drive trim angle.

Thanks for the replies do you know when you will have nuts for the upgraded shafts in so i can get both at the same time.

Also not sure what you mean by Just slide some teflon the whole length of the shaft as i use grease is it the same thing.

Nuts will be in later this week. The teflon goes inside the stuffing tube, the cables turns inside it.

Remove the bushing in the strut and remove the teflon liner that is in the stuffing tube if there is already one in there.

If your not sure if there is one in there or not, you may have to remove the motor and slide something down the stuffing tube from inside the boat to push out the teflon liner.

Once the old one is out if there is an old one, slide in the new one and cut it to length.
Install the bushing and then re install the cable.

Thanks for the info i got the old bushing out not much left ordered a new one gonna go for it and replace the stuffing tube. The stuffing tube was lined up but it just has one sharp bend in it. when i reinstall i will try to make a much more gradual bend(i hope)
