    Battery ?

    Good Morning...

Any reason (?) I can or shouldn't use (double duty) lipo battery packs, I also use on my Scorpian Krawler. Using 1 pack or both packs in the boat at the same time... One or Both fit OK...

    > MaxAmps 4000mah, 2S2P, 7.4v, dual saddle packs of which I have 2...

Stock SV motor and ESC... and sure would save some battery $$$$...

    Many Thanks and Holler,

The SV uses 2 packs wired in series for 14.8 volts so you can use those packs together. The SV speed control is wired to accept them both. I assume they are just regular shaped packs.

Both packs together are 7.4 volts ... you would need 2 sets.

Yea I was confused about what you meant by saddle pack. Egneg is right you need 14.8 volts to run the SV so you need two sets which you have.

just remember the stock sv speedie does not have low voltage cut off for lipos ,so there is a chance of running your voltage too low & killing your new lipos .
