    upgraded sv27

    hi guys i thought you might like to have a look at my upgraded sv , the boat has a neu 1509/1.5y brushless motor,kuhler water jacket,hydra 120 amp esc,mtc powertrimm stinger,octura 440/2 sharpen balanced,modified toysports rudder, ose turn fins ,2*2s1p 6000mah lipos.ilove my little boat scares the *!***!***!***!** out of the turtles im my pond.

        looks like he brought the drive dog back inline with the leading edge of the rudder

          Doubt about motor...

          Which mtor is that? Is it the Neu 1509 1Y 3600 kv or the 1.5D 4500 kv?

            Notice how all of Bonewar's boats are "Over The Top" in every aspect of construction !!! Keep building so we can all have some one to look up to !!!
            I noticed in some of the other pics you seemed to have ground the crappy blue anodizing off the sv stingers, Any comments on how this was done ???

                  hex-dj mate the motor is a neu 1509/1.5y kv 2400 , weight 7.48oz , length 2.1in , rm 0.007 ohms , price $195 that should run me around 35000 rpm on 2s2p 7.4 6000mah lipos(14.8v), you can find the motor here www.neu motors.com . i will post more photos , video soon, the boat is very fast right on the design limit, very responsive on the throttle,turns easy,temps on motor,esc warm (enlarged water cooling system) lipos warm, all of my other sv's run hot , i love these little boats they just look awesome on the water.

                    bec in boat

                    well i have finished the sv , thanks go to raydee the castle cc bec is the goods, ive been running the boat around with out one for about a month, thank god i didn't blow up the esc, Ive put the bec on top of the hydra 120 , wired into the harness. down to the pond on the weekend so ill post up some pics of my ultra ultra modified modified 45mph,55mph,65mph beast . you pick!
