    SV27 strip down and rebuild

i have an sv27 from back when they first came out. i love this boat. it was my first real RC boat. (meaning anything of speed) I recently hit something in the water and broke a CF prop and cracked the rear transom. in the process of taking things out i have removed the battery tray areas, and noticed that my stringers appear to be a little on the weak/flimsy side. is there anything wrong with ripping them out and putting in the water cooled motor mount i have left over from a twin build? i will lay in a few layers of CF in the bottom and reinforce the transom with CF as well as the brass stuffing tube (the bulkhead is seperated fromt eh hull already and i do not like how its straight and then a sharp bend up to the motor.)
HPR 135 redemption, HPR C5009, modded zelos 36, 32 boats and counting.
Flier ESC dealer, pm me for details.
