well i opened up the water pick-up, sealed the wood frame with epoxy. installed the ose adjustable trim tabs, ordered the ose water jacket(on the way), and put the boat back together this morning. the driveline is smoother now than it was before. i need all the prop recommendations you guys have. already know about the x440/3, prather 215, and x642. what else you got for me?

Hey guys, before my cousin crashed his, SV27 (His crazy piloting, going full throttle towards the shore and thinking it's funny) he was running a ammo 2600 kv, Grimracer 45 by 68 prop and 4s....I guess it's different just running SAW's and not all out racing...they motor was the only thing warm....But he got 47.7mph out of it...I think if he had a smaller prop he may have gone faster, because it may have been faster.

No that is fine to run them up front. I have MaxAmps 8000 mah, which are a good size packs and I run them in front of the back of the motor. It sits way upfront and I have no issues, runs smooth and no hoping or spinouts even thru the wakes. A rule to remember is to find the " CG ".

some might call that over warm yet...how far down are you running the cells and how long? if those temps are from 5-8 minutes of runtime then I would say you have things under control. however if that is what you're getting after only 30 seconds...you may still have a problem

those temps at the end of the run are safe, worry if they go up.
