Ul-1 power in a SV, yea click the SV link in my signature and you will see a video of it. I run mid to high 40s with mine with ul-1 power. Good choice of batts, set up properly it should be a nice running SV. For props, 42x55, x642, 40x52/3 or x440/3. My boat doesn't have the teflon tubing either. It's better if it's their, but not major just make sure the flex shaft isn't touching or can rub the stuffing tube at the end before it hits the collet

Thanks. I'm the process on working on hitting 60mph in my SV , thiers a sample video in my youtube home page click "diesel's youtube" at the bottom and you'll see it, says sv 7xl. It was running 53mph in that video it ran so good I feel comfortable pushing it a little more. I think the Sv will work great for you. Before you hit the water with it make sure everything is tight on the hardware and make sure the cooling system flows freely, grease the shaft prior to your run. Port side turnfin is just for left turns, with just the right and keeping a nice oval right turn run like the way I drive in my video and it will work just fine. One thing you will want to do is replace the lower bolt where the rudder connects to the rudder mount with a nylon sheer bolt. And tuck your rudder under the boat (negative) that will help with hopping in the turns which sv's tend to do. Also did you notice where my batts where in the video towards the end. WIth lipos they need to be further forward then the stock position, this will help your CG. I coulnd't tell you the last time my SV flipped, it's been a long time (knock on wood). Sounds like a fun day guys.

Move the batts more forward. Make sure the trim tabs are perfectly neutral using a straight edge. They should be perfectly inline with the bottom of the hull. Tuck the rudder forward (negative). A grim 42x55, octura x642, x440 should work good. I use the grim myself and it runs great. As always 1 small adjustment at a time.
